Rob: Great read. I found out about Bootleggers from Mike McHenry early in the AM last week in HMB. I used to fish along side the Z squad in the mid to late 70's. I had the AVENTURA, renamed the PAVO GRANDE when I sold. VD and all take me way back. I hear you help your Mom with her tav in Sac? Jeff--Wilton and NEAT TRICK in HMB

I'm reading Bootleggers Cove right now. I have been around fishing all my life. I have never read a better book about fishing you tell it like it is. I fish with my Dad on the Gayle which Jeff and Dave Bettencourt own now. Thanks for bringing back good memories of good times. I'm going to order the second book today. I have some pictures of fishing in the 70's if you need them.

I liked the way you put each story to music. All the best to you and continued success in your efforts.

My good friend Mike McCorkle provided this rare photo, and thinks the name of this very old Monterey is Noneo II. Do you see a smoke stack? All sails it looks like to me.
