RT. You do a great honor to those who contributed to your strength and will to survive by giving resonant voice and living history to a way of life for which I had no knowledge. In this you display ethical and honest appreciation for those souls. Good job!

Hi. It was very nice meeting you in person, for your book signing in LaHonda. Best of luck with your book, and all future endeavors.

Rob Just finished "bootlegger's" and seemed to see a good part of my life from a slightly different angle; thanks for reminding me what the coastside was like in the '60's, '70's & '80's. A lot of powerful writing in the book, although I'm thinking of bringing a libel and slander civil action for casting me in the roll of a lawyer. I've been called a lot of things in my life, but never a lawyer, for Christ's sake. Thanks for writing the book; and thanks for staying alive- Catskinner Bob

My good friend Mike McCorkle provided this rare photo, and thinks the name of this very old Monterey is Noneo II. Do you see a smoke stack? All sails it looks like to me.
